I have searched for the last two hours and can't find the information or parts that I need.
I need a complete Rag joint for a tilt steering column to power steering box.
I know I need, and have found, the special flange part that goes on the shaft of the tilt column but what about the centre rubber piece and the flange that goes onto the POWER steering box. Is there anything different about those parts? What do I order?
Nobody seems to talk about these two parts nor sell as a complete kit.
Do I have to order a complete rag joint kit for a power steering car the throw the column half away?
Any and all help would be appreciated

Anybody???

I think you just want the steering coupler. It clamps to the steering box shaft and has the rubber disc and bolts that then connect the steering shaft and box together. They're available at the parts store, ebay, Rock Auto, etc. Lares 201 should be for the stock box.

Here's a picture of one

Steiner,
So if I understand you correctly, I can use a standard power steering
coupler on steering box end, power steering rag joint in the middle(the link you showed, then I use the tilt steering coupler on the steering shaft side.
If that's correct where can I buy just the coupler on the steering box side. The rag joints all seem to come separately or with the coupler on the steering shaft side.

Steiner,
I didn't see the last picture on your link which I think shows the coupler that goes onto the steering box side. Is that correct?

Yes, if you get the Lares unit it is an all-in-one. It is not exactly like original but rather the clamp and rubber rag joint in one unit. An original style is linked below.

So, all you need is the flange that clamps to the end of the steering column:
Camaro Steering column flange tilt 1967-1968-1969 - 1967, 1968, 1969 Camaro Parts - NOS, Rare, Reproduction Camaro Parts for your Restoration

And the complete coupler that clamps to the steering box:
Camaro Steering coupler w/PS 1967-1968-1969 - 1967, 1968, 1969 Camaro Parts - NOS, Rare, Reproduction Camaro Parts for your Restoration

And if you get the one above instead of the Lares unit you need the two different sized nuts that connect the steering box coupler/rag and steering column together. The Lares unit comes supplied with nylocks.

The two bolts that come with the coupler are what connect the box and column together.

What you are probably seeing elsewhere at lower cost are the replacement rag joints which are just the rubber disc used to repair a worn out coupler/rag assembly. On those the two locator pins have shafts and nuts on them to you can bolt them to the steering box clamp-on flange. The Lares complete coupler unit at Rock Auto and ebay is about as cheap was what you can usually just find the repair rag joint for.

Steiner,
The Lares 201 shows it,s not compatible for a 67 Camaro. Do I just ignore that?

I am assuming you have an original box. There are two different shaft sizes (3/4" and 13/16") and a few different spline counts, also some without flats. The 201 is listed as the 13/16" one with a flat which I believe is correct for an early Saginaw 800 series box. They went to 3/4" later and I think some manuals may be 3/4.

Is there an easy way to tell if the box is original? Its in the car and not the easiest thing to get at but will remove if I have to.

Take a 3/4" open end wrench and see if it'll go on the input shaft. If not, it should be the older 13/16" original box.
