K, Puting standard interior door panels on. Have new panel, armrest and mount. Installed lower trim to panel and clips. All ready to go on except need to install upper trim to door so top of panel can slip into trim. Question I have is what screws are used to attach trim to door? See the 5 holes in door which line up with trim. Holes seem large, and think they should be counter sink. Bought from classic industries, and states you attach by screws. Fisher Manuel states the same. What screw?

Thanks again Roger, but no help. Went to Lowe’s and home depot. Largest screws they have are # 14. Still can’t find the sheet metal screws that will fit the 5 existing holes on both doors for mounting upper trim. Can’t believe you can find the trim on all Camaro sights, but don’t off the screws to mount. All other trim and molding offer the screws. Any chance anyone know the size of the screws. I don’t have the existing screws to compare.

I'm battling the same issue. It seems NOBODY sells the screws that hold these upper door trim molding pieces on. I've made multiple trips to Lowes and Home Depot and have tried #6 (too small) and # 8 doesn't quite fit right either (wrong thread pitch maybe?)

Does ANYBODY know what size/thread pitch screws these are??

They are a #8x1/2" long course thread Philips head sheet metal screw. Approx. 19-20 threads per inch. Originals were zinc plated. My originals show no sign of rust. If the screws are loose you can try hammering the hole with something backing it up. It's common for sheet metal screws to pull material out away from the hole.

On STD Door panels, there is a SST trim piece that holds the top of the door panel in place on the door. It is held in place by 5 screws. There are also shorter SST trim pieces that hold the top of the rear door panels in place as well. The arrow in the first picture shows this trim piece installed,
