Okay I know this has been talked about a thousand times. But I can’t seem to find a good old thread on here on this subject. I have a 69 big block Camaro with stock manifolds and I would like to put a set of nice coated headers on it. It is a power steering car with a th400 automatic. I bought a set of sanders headers or Sanderson , what ever they are. Very nice quality. I actually got the drivers side to fit but the passenger side wasn’t even close. So can anyone steer me in the right direction on this please. Who makes a set that fits nice? Thanks Brad

Odd the pass side didn’t fit, it’s always the drivers side.

Yes I know. I did the drivers side first. After I got it on I thought shoot the passenger side should be a breeze. Nope not a chance????

It did but I removed it.

Where does it not fit? Often you have to take out the engine mount bolt and jack up the engine several inches to get the header in place.

Believe it or not it hit the rear firewall. I sold them to another guy cheap and told him the issue I had. He said he would give it a shot. He called me about a week ago later. He said he had the same problem 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have Doug's header D328 on my 67 with 502 and PS. Fit great.

I would venture a guess they were not for a Camaro and most likely boxed wrong.

Which Sanderson hearers did you have? I have Sandersons on my big block car with stock motor mounts and had / have no issues with fitment.
