I've found this once before long ago via google... but I've just spent 2 hours googling every possible variation and keyword "and,or,not" combination of the words "berlinetta camaro dash instrument cluster pinout harness wiring wires 1984 84 85 1985" etc etc and can't find the info again.

What I need is the pinout of the plug that runs the digital instrument cluster. My dimmer circuitry is on the fritz and I can't see my dash when I turn on the parking/headlights (it thinks the dimmer is all the way down, so it doesn't light anything on the dash at all).

I've had that whole cluster apart before, but I'm not in the mood to go disassembling the entire dash to trace out the bad transistor or whatever. I don't think it's in the cluster anyway, if I remember correctly, the dimmer driver circuitry is in the lighting control brainbox on the passenger side.

Anyway, what I want to do is clip the dimmer wire going into the cluster, and put a pigtail from the "lights on" signal over to the dimmer signal so that the dash will think the dimmer is at full brightness. This is temp fix until I get the free time to disassemble half the car.

When I pass a cop at night, I kinda want to know how fast I'm going

If you are sitting in the seat, the plug is bottom-right and connects to the bottom, it runs the whole cluster.
