in the catalog it says it is different but i dont know why.id called them up tommorow too see why.(according from ricks catalog it is different)some 67 and 68 parts fit each other but some dont.

 

I believe they changed door latch between 67 and 68 for the removal of the vent window. The part of the bracket on the door latch where it meets the outside door handle rod is shorter on the 68 then the 67. My vin is 75th car built in 68 and it had a 67 in the drivers door and 68 in the passenger door( I am not sure if this came from the factory). When the driver window was half way down I could not open the door from the inside door handle becasue the longer part of the bracket(67) was hitting the window and would not release the door latch. I roll the window up or down and the door would open. I switched the door latch to a 68 and the problem went away.
