Yes you can, do a search on RS conversion, they also make brackets that attach to your standard fenders

 

You can purchase RS conversion kits for your car, check Rick's, Ground Up, etc. Several people have done what you are thinking of. Good luck.

 

Yes...Here is all you'd need for the grille. Don't forget the RS turn signals(67-8 only) and rear backup lights to complete it correctly.

How does it affect the price of this kit if I plan to use the Detroit Speed electric kit or one like. I imagine there are things like the vacuum reservoir I would not need then. Does Bel Air have an electric kit?

 

We do not have electric setups, but can configure a kit that would get you all you needed except for the electric motor arrangement. Basically, less the vacuum tank,line kit and actuators. You would need everything else.

Yes, deleting the tank, lines and actuators would save about $150.

 

How do the conversion brackets mount to the fenders on a 67 and 68?

 

and to think this was only a 110 dollar option back in 67 to add the RS option to a car. Dont know what the inflation in price was for 69.
