Drain in battery?

went out to start the car today and batttery was dead, so i charged it, took it took it out to gas station and on the way back came to start the car and it was dead again what could cause the battery to geep going down? what all should i look at?

Had the same problem. Turned out to be a bad horn relay. I have actually seen this a few times since I work at Schucks part time.

I know, I know its just a part time job guys.....no harassing please. I have to make it to spend it.

I had the same thing happen to me. I found out yesterday I actually had a crack in the side of my battery. Over time the charge would hold less & less until it would not hold a charge at all.

You seem to have a short somewhere. Best to measure the extent of it to get an idea of what may be causing it. I had a similar experince a few years ago and found that my ignition switch was defective because it keep the field coils in my alternator active even with the key out of the ignition.
