Not to sidetrack this thread but.. is the Camaro glove box door emblem original to 68,s? I have one and always wondered what year Camaro it was off of? Back to your regular programming..

 

What's that hiding in the weeds behind it in the second pic ? 56 ? 57 ? If you were close to NH I'd probably do something really foolish like buy that 68 and hide it behind the barn for a future project...

 

Yeah good eye there is a 55 and some 56's at the same location among others.

I have a 67 that looks worse than that and I too took the Vin off BUT I have it hanging on my keys as a key chain .. lol ... its ok it started with 1233......?

Excuse me, but WHAT IS THE REAR AXLE ??? I see a disc brake conversion and multi leaf springs !!! Is it a 12 bolt ?? Axle alone might be worth $500.........:hurray:

hey, no fooling, take a look at that rocker panel. not a spot, his floors are better than mine in front. seat belt retractor, and am/fm radio laying in the floor... aint that a shame...

That car is plenty savable. I've seen worse. Re-skin it (like most do anyway) and it would be a nice car. If it was closer I'd make a Prostreeter out of it.

 

Just think if you would have chrome plated the whole car....it would look as good as the whole bumper today!

In retrospect, it seems to be a posterchild for not chopping one up, grinding the paint off, and pushing it out in the weather...

 

A little bondo...touch of paint...little bit of TLC?
