20-25K if Guy throws in a Cookout at his garage

...
Bobby, you will want to play up the celebrity connection for top dollar and you'd probably be best off offering it through a known auto auctioneer such as Mecum, Kruse, Barret-Jackson. Assuming the car is a good running driver, probably an SS "clone" without original engine, without the celeb connection I'd expect it to be $20-25k in this economy.
Just my thoughts.
Just my thoughs ...
1st off, I doubt you could get "Guy" to have or do anything with getting this car sold :noway
There is no 'connection' of any celebrity really to this car - it is still owned by David Page, the originator of
a-n-d "Ex"-Producer of the show - and he will not be getting any co-operation from 'Guy' or the Food Channel in selling that car ...
Rumor is 'Guy' didn't like the owner/producer having majority control over 'his' show and the final editing of the episodes and lobbied FC executives to get him removed as producer - guess 'Guy' got his wish

There is a pending settlement of the legal issues between producer and the FC folks - so it may dictate what/how/if he can use 'their' name in advertizing this vehicle for sale in print
Soooo - here you have a vehicle that 'was' used in a TV series for a given time, is owned by and registered to a 'non'-celebrity that is going to get sold.
Will it bring more than a 'normal' Non-SS Clone? Probably ...
Will it bring "Celebrity" prices? I doubt it ...
It is still not listed anywhere I can find, only offered in private closed 'bidding' so far ... maybe something to do with 'lawyers' ???
And it is a 'Clone' :secret:
And only 1 of those 3 pictures show above is the actual car ...
The one with 'Guy' sitting on it

Original engine was a 327 - based from an early interview with Producer quote
"It was originally a 327 car, now a 350 4-speed" ...
Engine was replaced with the present crate 350 by the PO before they bought it for the show ...
There have been several updates and some re-freshing of it since it was purchased.
Guy has said some pretty
uhmmmm ...
less than nice things about it's condition (like; "
if this Camaro were his, it would be in much better shape") in several print 'car' mags over the years ...
BTW - The 'New' Camaro you will be seeing in the upcoming season's shows is a 1968 - they finally got the right year :hurray:
