Trunk Opening Dimensions

Hi,

I'm comparing my new AMD trunk gutters to what is on my car now and they are about 1/2 of an inch too short.

If I measure the trunk gutters on the car front-to-back I get 18 inches. The AMD piece measures 17.5

Can someone measure their car (as pictured below) and let me know what they got?

I spoke with AMD and they measured one of the trunk gutters from the warehouse. It measured 17.5 just like the new ones I have.

Not sure why my car measures 18 inches. I have new AMD quarters and tail panel. Hopefully it will all work together when its done.

OK.... so we now have three 1968 camaros that measure 18 inches.... and so far the AMD gutters are all measuring 17.5.

If I use the AMD gutter, it will move the top edge of my tail pan in 1/2 of an inch. That seems like it would throw things out of wack...

Anybody ever use re-pro trunk gutters?

The problem is that the drip edge aligns with the tail panel. So if the drip rail is 1/2 an inch shorter, that will move the tail panel.

I'm going to fit things up in the next couple days. Thankfully, I can re-use my old drip rails.
