I always considered the 327 5.3 L. Course if it's bored .060 over:noway:, it probably would be 5.5 L ??:wacko:

 

It is how they set up the catalog.
5.3L = 323 CID; 5.4L = 329 CID.
327 CID = 5.35L
I always use 5.3L in the size selection.

 

Just as a quick reference, 1 L = 61 cubic inches.

 

It's a 5.4L per GM. The 5.3L is the modern Gen IV engine. Once you put in the year the website doesn't care what liter you picked however.

 

One should never use liters when talking about a 327 Chevrolet engine. :noway:

 

I thought the 67's also had small journal 327 blocks also.

 

67 327's are small journal but that doesn't change the displacement since the stroke is 3.25" whether large or small journal.

I thought the 327 on camaros were 3.4L.

A 3.4 liter is a V6 engine and around 207 cubic inches.
