Does anyone have a pic or reference on the correct way to assembly the vent window stem? There is several ways to put the spacers in.

No, its not in the fisher manual.

working from the bottom up, in this order: Nut-small washer with the tang on it-spring-'U' shaped washer(flat area faces the rear)-fiber washer-vent window frame-fiber washer-metal washer.
