My painter is getting down to the final strokes before he puts it in the paint booth. I have 2 sets of fender extensions and I don't know which ones are correct. It's for a 67 RS. The only difference between the 2 extensions is the hole in one that is not in the other:

My guess is that the one without the hole is correct because I think it was original to the car... but I could be wrong.

The Extention without the hole is correct.

Thanks everyone... I have so many parts and pieces laying around I can't tell up from down sometimes :D

Might the ones with holes be from a 69, or a non-RS '67? They line up exactly with the mounting holes on the (original) '67 RS fenders??? I guess I need to collect all my fender extensions, line up up, and see if you can tell me what I have. I know (at least I think I know) they all go to first gen Camaro's.

My 100% original '67 non-RS fender extensions have no such hole. In fact, I have never seen round holes like that on any first gen fenders or fender extensions. The holes for side markers (running lights, whatever) are rectangular. I think what you have there is a one-of-a-kind, home-made 'feature'.

Also, what happened to the hole on the bottom? Maybe somebody moved it up to the side?

It definately won't be a show car... just a driver. I expect about a 7/10 on the paint job, but it will do.

There's a bunch of pics here if you want to see.

Hey Steve - sorry I'm late to this (you should have just called ...)
As already stated, there is no factory hole in them - that hole is/was made for a popular aftermarket 'sidelight' available from parts houses in the early/mid 70's. I put them on a few of my cars 'to make them look more modern' ...
You can weld a plug in the holes to return them to original if you needed to use them.
"Jaun" looks like he's movin' right along

I LOVE that color
My '67 SS coupe was Emerald Green w/Black top & interior - one of the 'purdiest' ones I ever owned.
I'll get that RS trim stuff over to ya asap - trying to finish the siding replacement and paint on the house before we get much more rain.
