Whatever some body is willing to pay..looks nice love the color combo..he gots some paperwork and numbers to match up..it would be nice to check it over in person...seen them for less money and for for money....i would like to give 39k for it after checking it out in person...but they are worth more than that though....(LOOKS LIKE IT HAS HAD A PASS QUARTER PUT ON, THE DOOR DOESNT LINE UP TO GOOD?)

Not original 1/4 panels IMO. While being nice I've seen nicer lately at that price, again just my opinion and yes grill should be silver.

The expense of correcting the paint overlapping the trunk would be a biggy. Black grill need's attention also. Nice car tho.
The trunk paint would not be expensive... I did that fix on my Z10 when I got it ... take off the spoiler and have the paint matched going 5 inches back put the spoiler back on and your done.... again , nice to see a car with a cowl hood that has all the components to be functional.

Hugger Orange.. number one favorite color on a 69 Camaro by recent poll on the sYc board :)

Chalk on the firewall may mean a resto of at least the engine component or his kindergartener practicing ABC's and 123's

Merry Christmas everyone! Still looking for a 69 Z for a buddy of mine. He really likes this one. Thoughts on this one, whats right or wrong, value in todays market, etc. Thanks in advance.
rear stripes are wrong, they are on the deck lid

but it MAY be a dealer added spoiler ... no D80 on trim tag

rear exhaust is larger than stock, but then it has headers on it so . . .

Sorry to be a wet blanket but I believe the engine, trans and axle stamps need a closer examination. Look a bit funky to me.

Other issues:

rockers should be painted black
grille should be silver [argent]
window crank knobs yellowed
lose the spare tire cover
all exhaust is aftermarket
missing AIR system
missing column locking linkage
wrong master cylinder/booster looks painted
water pump bolts should be orange
dipstick/tube should be natural
missing plug wire separator brackets
missing AC filter air cleaner label
missing choke linkage
service replacement polished rocker covers
painted hood hinges & latch
service replacement radiator cap
NAPA battery & cables
wrong rocker cover vent hose
wrong PCV hose
overdone firewall grafitti

Where's the body tag photo?

Early in 1969 at Norwood the partial VIN stamp moved to the rough cast area on the block next to the oil filter. Can be very difficult to read.

This car is a Sep 69 build; one of the photos in the ebay listing attempts to show the stamp.
Just learned something new

I don't know if it's a POS, but to be technically correct the items listed above are good observations. That's why people post and ask questions, it helps to get other opinions on a car. But it may not matter what other people think if you love the car. Gotta love the Hugger Orange though! ;)

Best Colour in the world IMO but I am prejudiced.

Sorry to add to the wrong list and possibly spoil someones xmas but the car has 68 or earlier cylinder heads ( no accessory holes that 186,s have ) and water pump and alternator as well as balancer are wrong also.
Dont know how the seller can claim all matching numbers, I would call him on it.

I am sure fellow TC members can supply information required or direct you where to find correct parts if that is the route you decide to go with, heck I am pretty sure I have some G/69 and H/69 186 heads.

I know,, But I just noticed a couple of thing's and it hit me.......

This car was originaly Lamans blue from the factory..There's a place on the top inner driver's door where the blue is still showing. Look at the over spray on the same door seals..."ORANGE"
Git a close look at the trim plate,, I can tell you before looking at it that it's been changed.....

Guess you're talking about this pic:

Looks like it could be blue in the corner behind the dash pad, could be a reflection of black (neither would be correct since it should be orange, but I can't say for sure on that pic). Didn't see a pic of the trim tag.

I'm guessing you have other/better pics since you know the car very very well? Doesn't really matter all that much to me, but the guy that says he just bought it would probably be interested.
