I just bought a 1967 4 speed console and gauge's it has the wire harness and low fuel light setup and is complete (GOT IT OFF EBAY LAST NIGHT SO I DON'T HAVE IT HERE YET) I am gonna put new lense in it and probably clean it up and paint it what would it be worth right now the way thing's are ?
I would trade on it also but wanted to get a solid $dollar value to start with ,,,
don't know if any of the gauge's work or not just know it's complete ,, thank's

Not to be a smart A$$ but I'd hope it's at least worth what you paid for it, unless you got into one of those crazy bidding wars.

Last few shows/swaps I've been to seemed like they went for anywhere from 350-600 (console w/gauges) depending on condition. You can almost bank on the clock not working but usually the other gauges work, unless obviously damaged/broken. Now I have seen a few perfectly restored ones where the seller was asking $1000+ but when I went back by the booth at the end of the week they were still there.

It really seems like the repos have driven the price down on these. Maybe due some people not wanting an original as much as wanting a new one that everything works on with no repairs to do??

did you buy it just to resell it?
nothing wrong with that, just curious?
what are you wanting to trade on?

yes I just got it to resell and figured I would get it all working before I put it up on the block  I have my 67 RS console gauge equipped car out here so I can test the gauge's easily , I would like to trade on any 67 part's plus some cash $

A great gauge on what something is worth is Ebay so there is a good chance it is worth what you paid...LOL

:D I rarely pay what something is worth , it's not because I'm tight it's because I'm broke :D their's a difference !

the thing you have to remember about ebay is that a lot of the people selling car part's HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY HAVE
combine that with ebay's WONDERFULL BUY IT NOW FUNTCION and ,,,,,,,,,well you understand ,,

Actually it looks like there was no competitive bidding, so that probably doesn't apply here.

The seller put it up with a low buy it now and he snatched it up right away!

Nice find Brad, I think you will make out ok on that one. The guy that bought the other gauges probably would have snatched the console and gauges if you didn't
