With pozi and the right gear it wasn't that hard to get a 4k+ lbs boat up a ramp
Small block in my trucks or one of my Camaros - what's the diff
Now if I could just find pictures ("X" probably has them ) of my 67 pulling my 21' Daycruiser, my Hobie Cat or my Dune Buggy back-in-the-day ...

I used to tow a 17' foot Donzi ski boat with one of my 69 camaros. I'll have to dig around to find a picture.

Anybody notice the object under the trailer's frame beneath the boat holding the trailer up??????
Nor saying a 1st gen couldn't pull a boat (my 67 owners manual on page 42 talks about it) but I'm calling shenanigans on the pic.

OK I'M BUSTED!! They are my 2 favorite things, I thought it would make a cool picture.

Back in the 80's, I used my 67 convertible one night to tow my friends chevy tow truck to his house. We chained it up to the frame, smoked some of the clutch. We got her there, but we got some strange looks going down the road. I wish i had pics of that.

I used to have a 308 pozi, now a 255 non pozi...but it is built as a stump puller, 1200 torque convertor....If it was more street strip I would think it would be no where as good??
If Im going to tow over 100 miles, I turn the modulator out 1/2 turn otherwise the trans is too sensitive.
you would be really suprised just how well the camaro is as a tow vechcile.
