The ones that I am finding are all for the cars that have the shift on the floor. Mine is a column shift. Has anyone found a good aftermarket armrest with cup holders that doesn't require that it sit a bit on the original console? I just need something there to put a soft drink.

I love the short ones but it's my understanding that they sit sort of on top of the original console that holds the floor shift. Which mine doesn't have

Gets expensive to hold your drink! How much do you want to spend? Plenty on the internet from $30 to hundreds. I finally just made one for my truck with 1/4 plywood and covered it with Madrid vinyl, got some cup incerts off the internet took a coulpa hours and not much $$, depends how handy and motivated you are. JMO

This might be too late of a response but I am designing some cup holders for my 68, its just like the stamped steel ones for sale on Ebay but this one doesn't require you to permanently mount it to the console. I made one with my 3D printer that snaps in and doesn't interfere with closing the console lid. For you 1967 guys, I don't see one available? If anyone wants a free protoype for a 67 I can print it for you but I'll need the dimensions of the 1967 console. I don't have any buddy's here locally in the small town I live in that owns a 67.

My buddy made the same thing with just a piece of black foam with two cup holders and a phone holder about 2 years ago. He posted on some Camaro F/B groups with pictures and it went viral with everyone making them for there cars

The 3D print insert looks good. I would prefer one for a single cup with the rest as open space to keep stuff in.
Me, I just made one for my 67. PVC fitting, rubber cup insert for some late model car from Amazon fitted into a 1/4" piece of plywood drilled to receive the PVC and bolted in with stock console bolt. About $10 in stuff.
