Upgrading my L35 to an L78+ with around 425hp 500ft lbs. Engine builder is recommending new, stock rubber mounts versus urethane. One of the current motor mounts has a GM sticker with part number 3952748. I'd like to know if this is the safe design which does not require torque straps or should I be using a different mount?

That is an interlocking design mount. It is only needed on the drivers side because the passenger side of the engine doesn't rise up from torque, only the drivers side does.

2142 or 2267 mounts are the short and wide low performance numbers.
