does anyone know of anyone who stamps the date codes on the brake booster for the 1969 z28? looking for original but not having any luck finding one for my date code. thanks for your help team camaro!
To most, restored means taken back to the way it left the factory. So if it left with a booster dated January, 69, it should have one with that date.I have often questioned the notion of a car being more valuable if it has the correct date code on an accessory. To me, it has always seemed reasonable that parts will wear out on a car necessatating replacement.
Taken to the extreme, the most valuable car is the one that still has the original oil in it and factory tires on it. But that seems kinda stupid, no?

I have an extra original 9204 booster, day 93 that just came back from the resto shop. PM me if you are interested....Not to jump on anyone else's posts, but if either of you has a March or April 69 9204 booster I would be interested.
Ed, sorry, wife has me busy on honeydos, I have not had time to clean those panels to make sure they are good.
