my car is finally painted. 16 months after a promised date. the painter took out all the door hardware about 3 years ago. now he is too busy too put my car back together. I was hoping for a detailed diagram of all the parts in the door. I am replacing both door glass also. thanks for any help.

thanks. I did see that but a 67 is a little bit different. I also found a diagram pic with parts having a number but no info on what the numbers are in actual parts. the scared shiftless video was really good but he had a lot of parts already in place.

YES. thank you so much. I am going to try to use a piece of inner tube when I put my new glass on the old bottom channel. do I need to use some kinda glue or do the two end pieces clamp it on. thanks

I took my channel and glass to a local door glass shop. Not sure what they call it but he used some very thin rubber to put between the glass and the channel. That was the right fix for me as I was afraid I'd not get it seated correctly in the channel. No adhesive of any kind.

I would not fool with inner tube.

Glass setting tape comes in different thickness.

I stopped in my local glass shop and the guy there just gave me some and would not let me pay for it. Also gave me a couple installation tips.

I did take my car to them to install the windshield and rear glass when it was time.

thank you Mike and John. on some searches here I think I read someone used a piece of bicycle inner tube. I know the guys at ziebart and will ask them for a piece of the right rubber. they do a lot of glass work and it is right across the street.
