Do you guys have problems with your side mirros staying in place? When I shut my door, they move. I have to re-adjust them every time! Anybody know a fix for this?

If there is a screw on the front side try tightning it.

If you apply a small drop of loctite on the adjustment ball, it seems to tighten everything up a bit. I tried it on mine and it worked pretty good, but you will need to reapply every so often to keep it tight.

That's the problem, I believe these are pretty new. Cheap repo's.

I have the same problem with my 69. Had bought a new mirror about 2 yrs. ago still have the same issue. When I do the body work this fall I will install the 70's style bullet mirrors.

A common problem, especially with repop mirrors. Do a search on the topic and you will get a lot of hits with a variety of proposed soultions.

Folded mine down, added a drop of superglue & readjusted.
Has stayed in place for a long time.... no need to readjust as no one else is allowed to drive it.
