Original Dover White with Dark Blue vinyl roof, nice combo you never see. I'd look that car over good. Frame tied, bb heat core, was it a car thrown together?

The BB heater core doesn't make any sense, but that being said, I LOVE that color and interior combo, and I know how much it would take to put one of these together from a rust free car, I don't think you could build that car for less than 20K...........going to contact the seller and make arrangements to look at it, he's got another Camaro in the background, hopefully, it's not a dealer or one of the local Camaro flippers.

Firewall looks like it was smoothed, BB heater box looks homemade, seatbelts look like the wrong year, trim tag rivets? BB x-member, wrong P.S. resevoir, the rearend looks like a later 10-bolt, replacement rear springs. Nice paint

Yeah 18k to maybe 20k depending on how it drives. I like the deluxe blue interior. Looks like a fun car. What's up on the pass side sub frame rail? Looks like a glob of something sticking out. Very interesting home the seller has.
That along with the ill fitting front bumper on the same side leads me to believe bent sub frame.

Please confirm that it does not have air shocks (didn't appear so from the pics), that there isn't any rust, all of the doors, windows, hood & trunk lid line up and operate, all gauges and electrical components work and the drive train runs out to your satisfaction. What part of the drivetrain is original? Does he have information on when the car was worked on with receipts? How much do you like the car? It's a base model, with a great stock appearance. If you like the car and the way it performs, I would say it's a good $22k offer car.

Well, I think 15K is light, do you really think you could find another one this nice for 15K, or better yet, build one for that price? I'm thinking 18K to 20K, but alot of the issues mentioned are making me think twice about it. I'm just now getting back into the market, and I'm in no big hurry, when a SMOKIN' deal presents itself, I will jump on it, but this doesn't seem to be it! Thanks for all the responses!!!!

Bill should know; he just sold a beautiful blue, low, low mile 69 RS 307 car for around the asking price on this CL car. :(

The asking prices are way, way down for drivers, and the selling prices are even lower. If you're not in a hurry (which obviously you are not), just sit back and watch what's going on with the market. I can't see that particular car selling for more than $20K even to someone who falls in love with the color combo. I for sure would want to see it in person, because former vinyl top cars should always be scrutinized to make sure the top removal was done right to save many headaches down the road.

Gee, that's a tough one without pics, I don't know, 12-14K??? Paint and body is going to set you back another 8-10K, if you want it done right!!!!

i payed 16.8k and its probally a 24-26k car at tops when done but itll be nice and have some options to it unlike this one here??.jmo on values!! good luck on your quest!!people can ask what they want too but they will own it for awhile too!!

What it is worth and what you pay are two different things. Might be worth the $23K, but should not sell for what it is worth today. Not a plain jane anyway. A car like that needs to be thought of "could I sell it for what I pay for it". JMHO.

i guess one thing to consider is your gps location
in new york it might be worth more than in cali.
we forget that sometimes when we input our opinions.
in the southeast region its less than say ny.
