That is tight and can be a beeotch getting a wrench on them.

Don
I attached my lines before I put my engine/trans in. Very tight. You may be able to buy yourself a bit of room by taking the trans crossmember out and dropping the trans down as far as it will go.

When filling the system with antifreeze, if I use the Top Radiator hose connected to the engine block will this fill it back to the top of the radiator? I believe doing so will help eliminate air pockets?

.

That is the best way to do it. I usually fill from the upper and also let it sit a little bit in between and burp the lower hose to work the air out. Also start your engine up with the cap off and heater controls on hot to work the air out of the heater hoses.

The bottom fitting is the "fluid out" and the top is the return. So the bottom or fluid out should go to the top radiator fitting. Also, I would attach your fittings before you put that trans in. You will have a bear of a time getting them on otherwise.

Thanks, I have watched every video on YouTube that exists, maybe even twice :)

Even started my own YouTube build channel

Awesome. Glad you already found them. It may be of interest to the people in this sub-forum but that same channel "Goonzquad" just bought a 1st gen Camaro Resto Mod that is wrecked. They appear to have gotten scammed a bit though because it was supposed to be a "LS3 427" (Not sure how you get that but whatever) and ended up being a 5.3 that was thrown in after the crash.

They can be annoying, but their content is interesting. They take on projects many would be scared of, that's for sure. I struggle with some of the way they paint things because I have a auto body background but the jobs seem to look ok in the end.
