Has anyone came up with a good way to spray inside of rockers panel and inaccessable area. I'm trying to come up with a type of 360 degree hose
spray attachment or something I can feed into and down the rockers and inside the frame etc. I want to spray rust inhibitor or primer inside these places. I figured someone may have created some homemade way to do this.

Thanks
Ray

That is a very good question. I will be waiting for the replies myself. Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the replies, I actually bought that Eastwood gun last year and I hate to say it was so cheap that the pot metal on the gun broke after trying it only a few times. I still have the hose and tip but the two times I tried it it was so poor of quality that it worked terrible . Tip was not a 360 degree tip. It only sprayed out one side so you had to keep trying to rotate the hose while spraying. I was surprised as everything else I've bought from them has been great. While I was trying to get it to work the only thing I could think of was that someone had to have come up with a better way to do this.
I have not checked out the 3M body schultz gun , it sounds like possiblity. Has anyone made a 360 degree tip and how did you do it?.

Thanks

Apply the same engineering parameters of a garden sprayer to achieve the homemade nozzle. If you remove the tip of a garden sprayer the fluid will spray in the same manner as the effect you are trying to achieve. You cannot, however, use a garden sprayer as the holes are too small and the viscosity of the product you are using is obviously too heavy. Plug the end of flexible tubing and make holes around the circumference at the tip. Or cap the end of metal tubing and do the same. I bought my 3M gun over 25 years ago and it's been fine. It is also threaded to adapt attachments you may construct. Use your imagination as necessity is the mother of invention.

I would like to add that while the price of Eastwood's and other entry level tools appears enticing it is always best to purchase tools of a professional and quality construction. A
3M schulz gun through Auto Body Depot is around 60 dollars. You may be able to purchase one cheaper at your local body supply store. I spend a lot so my cost is cheaper than the general public but it doesn't not hurt to ask.

I bought the Eastwood gun with the 36" flexible hose and the nozzle that sprays 360 degrees. I then bought some tubing from Lowes that fit it and extended it to 5' or so (enough to reach from the rear of the rocker to the front) and I also bought some 1/8" dia rod and taped it to the hose so that it would not flop around and I could control it better. I then pushed it through the hole in the rear rocker (in the rear wheelwell area) to the front and slowly backed it out (while spraying) and rotated it back and forth while backing it out. Did that several times for each side and called it good. I used the body cavity wax only since my car had already been dipped and did not need any rust treatment.

I like the idea of the copper tube hooked to flex plastic line.
I have a number of extremely small drill bits to use, just need to figure out what size. I like the idea of converting the HF grease gun Stovedup suggested. I would also think any kind of a Ventura feed type gun or something like that would work for the gun. The trick would be hooking the tube on the end of the gun. I'll gather up the material and also get the grease gun from HF and start working on it and let you know what happens.

Thanks everyone for the help!

Ray, I can't seem to find the item number for that HB degreaser but it is near the air tool accessories. I used it to spray por 15 and body shutz in my rockers. I drilled a few small holes in the rockers and used the same tip that came on it without drilling. I also used it to spray on the undercoating on the fenders and floor pan. It will shoot body shutz pretty far.
