I see a lot of vacuum secondary fuel lines for sale and have been thinking about buying them and then just bending my own rear line. Anyone have a source for hard fuel lines from the pump to the bowls for a holley double pumper?

Thanks!

That's where I got my stainless steel pump to Holley carb fuel lines.

You may have to change out the carb fuel inlets and the length of the primary line is tailored for the height of the Chevy Z28 intake.

Get the right year per your alternator/water pump setup.

Here's a picture of fuel line your talking about on my camaro with 650 Holley. Minor tweeking but fit pretty well. Also added float bowl fuel filters from Holley. Some people don't like them but I wasn't going to cut fuel line for an inline filter. There are probable other options for fuel filter if so inclined.

I like those, my big concern is fitting it under my l88 style air cleaner base

I can probably do some tweaking to do what I want--possibly just aiming it down slightly and bending the line to fit(if the valve cover allows it)

Thank you guys!

I had issues with the 5/16 repo lines sold by most of the parts houses. I couldn't keep them from leaking. Steve's Camaro's in San Bruno, CA. used to sell set that were 3/8in. This solved my problem. Steve's Camaro's has been out of business for a few years. Search the net. You may find the source that Steve was using.

Copper flare gaskets are often used for stainless brake lines because stainless flares don't seat well. Never understood why guys are scared of regular brake line material. They never drive their cars in the winter. I have cars with 50 year old rust free lines.

Like Al said...properly seated a flare works as it should without a gasket as it designed to do so.
