Hey guys,need some expertise here.Im trying to remove the drip rail molding without totally ruining it.Ive done some searches here and most people say "try" a old style can opener.Has any body come up with a better way or a better tool?Any help or advice would be appreciated.

When I removed mine, I actually used my fingers only--no tools! Those are extremely fragile and will kink just by looking at them the wrong way. 
I forget which side, but it's either the top or bottom that you just simply unwrap --for lack of a better term-- around the roof rails. Start at one end and work your way down to the other. GO SLOWLY... and don't eat sardines before you do it. (hands will be too oily--slippery)

Hey Dave; I'm going to be changing my drip moldings also in the next week or so. I think mine will come off easily enough, my concern is getting the new ones on and having them line-up properly. Please let me know how you make out with yours and how you started the new ones off to get them to line-up. Thanks very much.
Well guys,they came off okay with out screwing them up.Thanks for the help.
I also put them on another camaro and they went on without a hitch.Just remember,and this is veryy important-start installing the drip rail trim down at the bottom by the quarter window and work your way toward the winshield,and also hook the top of the trim over the top of the drip rail and then push(pound) the trim piece down.I used the palm of my hand as the pounder and even though my hand is sore-i did not dent the trim pieces.Also-keep lots of beer handy for this process-it seems to numb the pain in your hand somewhat....:beers:
