Nice car, but the black with gold hood bird looks out of place on a car with the 69 retro styling to me. IMO, it would look better to style it as a 69 T/A with the white/blue stripe paint scheme. As a matter of fact, I am pretty sure that I have seen pictures of a car set up this way.

I'm still waiting for someone to restyle a 2010 Camaro with RS hideaway headlights and the rectangular tail lights with the horizontal bar. Now that would look bad-azz!

"Trans T/A"? Dumb name. Cool looking though.
I think legally they could not call it a "Trans AM" or "Firebird" or "Pontiac" for that matter. They said "Firebird style" and I think Trans T/A is their own name adaption they could call it. Just a guess?

I wonder if GM is okay with this....It is a decent looking car, but like rsss said, I would rather see a real RS version of the camaro with hidden headlights. I'm still not crazy about the looks of the stock grills on the 2010s...

For the most part, I'm Ok with the front end styling on the new Camaro, but I hate the back end. Leave the 4 taillights on the Corvette, and give us a set of taillights that look like they belong on a Camaro!!

I think the entire package was aimed at looking like a 77 T/A. They added a touch of faux wheel opening spoiler to the front facia, fender vents, shaker hood, and the grilles and headlight positioning{quad lights inside the grille) are all 1977 features. Since the 77 was the year most associated with the Banit cars,it only makes sense to go the black and gold route. In all honesty, the white and blue combo would not have been nearly as stunning as a black and gold car. Even if T/A purist would want the original T/A look and feel, the most popular T/A's were still the later 70's,and a black car with real smooth paint is almost always associated with a better fit and finish the a white car. 77 is my least favorite year of Firebird but I actually like this car the best.

I love it.Even though I'm a chevy guy I must say I always loved the decals and striping on the T/A so much so I bought a 79.Doesn't have much get up and go but the handling with the WS6 package makes it feel like a go cart, better than my 70Z or 81Z.

They're okay I guess. Just seems goofy to me to put 2nd gen nose and tail on a car that is designed after a 1st gen. But then again, IMHO, a first gen Fbird isn't that pretty of a car, especially the 69.
