Im not a fan of the bumper jack that came with my 67 and was wondering what other folks were using instead? Was thinking scissor or hydraulic bottle jack but am not sure about minimum and maximum heights. What say the group?

What jack are you first gen guys keeping in your trunk?
I know a few guys that carry a trolley jack with case. The case makes it easier to store. Here's just one I found quickly. I've had good luck with Torin jacks.

I'd do a small bottle jack a couple small pieces of 2x4" like I do in the carhualer if I was going to carry one.
I don't carry a spare or jack, just some real basic hand tools, so I'm in the Cell and AAA roadside camp.

My aftermarket bumper would probably deform if I used the original jack. I have a 1996 Lexus ES-300 scissor jack. It is able to lift the convertible rocker with out bending the body. Run flat tires are another option.

Got a scissor jack out of a F-100 at the junk yard for $5. . . . .so cheap I got 3 more and gave them to my buddies.
